The Sunday Post - 1st Edition

 The Sunday Post - 1st Edition 4/14/13 (4/7-4/13/13)
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Welcome to my very first Sunday Post! I've been planning to participate in this meme for a while, and I finally got (mostly) organized enough to do it! :)

My news & updates:

  • Look at the slider above - I finally put something in there that applies to Phantasmic Reads! They aren't fancy or professional, but I did them all by myself. :)
  • I also added a section on the right sidebar listing all current giveaways on the blog. I'll probably tweak it a bit, but for now at least they are accessible.
  • Monday is April 15th. For those who live in the US, you know the significance of that date. For me, the day means even more since I actually do income taxes at one of my jobs. You know what it means? More free time!

What happened last week:

What's coming up this week:

I'll be shooting for Top Ten Tuesday...it's REWIND week!
Also planned for this week:

  • Cover Reveal for Shadow Embraced
  • Interview with author Mia Hoddell
  • Order of the Black Swan Blitz
  • April New Release Giveaway Hop

New to my Kindle Fire:

This list won't be complete, since I didn't keep track very well. I'll try harder in the coming weeks...promise!
  • No Attachments by Tiffany King - I devoured this last Sunday night! Thanks to Kelly @ InkSlinger PR and Ms. Tiffany for providing the ARC. Review will be posted April 30th for launch day.

Around the Blogosphere:

How people found Phantasmic Reads:

Someone made it to Phantasmic Reads by searching for:
"mother rule" "from hell"
Yeah. Not sure how that happened.

Have a Phantasmic week, everyone!

  1. Welcome to Sunday Post!
Carniepunk looks really good and I was really tempted to request it, but I'm trying to get my tbr under control a bit before I hit that button for anything.
I hope you have an awesome week and enjoy that upcoming free time after tax day.

Yeah, I may have made the 'I'm new so I have to do everything' mistake. I think I've learned my lesson!

  5. I've got Carniepunk on my list of books to buy when it comes out. I will look forward to seeing what you think of it.

I hope you continue with the Sunday Post. My blog is pretty new, but I enjoy the weekly wrap-up and what's coming up for the next week that I do and then seeing what others are doing.

Enjoy having more free time after tomorrow!

    1. I plan to continue with the Sunday Post, Jan. I'm trying to train myself to keep a Word doc open while I'm doing stuff so I can just update it as I go throughout the week. :)

I'm hoping to start Carniepunk soon. Not sure if I'll read it all at once, or just read a story or two here & there. Maybe I'll read it all with some of that free time I'll have soon!
